Parker TexLoc Heat Shrink Tubing

High-temperature, chemical-resistant fluoropolymer heat shrink tubing for applications where standard polyolefin materials are insufficient. Parker TexLoc heat shrink is supplied in an expanded state for easy installation and conforms tightly to irregular shapes, protrusions, and complex geometries when heat is applied.

ProductMaterialShrink RatioKey Specifications
PTFE Heat Shrink — AWG & Fractional PTFE 2:1 QPL-approved AS23053/12; up to 500°F (260°C); Heavy Wall, Standard Wall, Thin Wall, and Light Wall options; chemically inert; superior dielectric strength
PTFE Heat Shrink — Fractional PTFE 4:1 Largest expansion ratio available in a PTFE heat shrink; ideal for irregular shapes and components with protrusions; up to 500°F (260°C)
FEP Heat Shrink FEP 1.3:1 Clear; lower shrink temperature than PTFE; ideal for medical instruments, thermometers, lighting fixtures, and battery packs
FEP Heat Shrink FEP 1.67:1 Clear; larger fractional sizes; same chemical and electrical properties as 1.3:1 series
FEP Roll Covers FEP 1.25:1 Supplied in expanded state for easy roller installation; extends roller life in industrial printing and converting applications
ETFE Heat Shrink ETFE 1.5:1 Greater tensile strength than FEP; increased abrasion resistance; well suited for applications requiring mechanical protection alongside insulation

Parker also offers turnkey fluoropolymer heat shrink application services through the Parflex Division. For complex applications such as copper coil covering, Parker can apply heat shrink tubing directly onto your component to eliminate kinks and wrinkles and ensure consistency before delivery.

Parker TexLoc Extruded Fluoropolymer Tubing

In addition to heat shrink, Parker TexLoc manufactures a complete line of extruded fluoropolymer tubing for fluid handling, electrical insulation, and wire dressing applications. Materials operate at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) and are resistant to virtually all industrial chemicals, UV radiation, and moisture.

ProductMaterialKey Specifications
PTFE Spaghetti Tubing PTFE AWG sizes; smoothbore; highest temperature resistance in the fluoropolymer family; used for wire insulation, lead dress, and fluid lines
FEP Extruded Tubing FEP Clear; FDA compliant (21 CFR 177.1550); suitable for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor fluid handling
PFA Extruded Tubing PFA Combines high-temperature capability of PTFE with the ability to be produced in long continuous lengths; used in high-purity and high-temperature fluid applications
PVDF Extruded Tubing PVDF Exceptional chemical resistance; commonly used in semiconductor, chemical processing, and laboratory applications
ETFE Electrical Insulation Tubing ETFE Higher tensile strength and abrasion resistance than FEP; used as electrical insulation sleeving
ETFE Beading ETFE

Precision-extruded insulation beading for lead dress and wire separation applications

All Parflex PTFE, FEP, PFA, and PVDF tubing is FDA compliant to 21 CFR 177.1550 and RoHS compliant.
